Instagram will shame you when you've wasted too much time in the app

If Instagram is the main cause of your phone addiction, the app may soon be able to help.

We've now gotten another look at how Instagram's upcoming "usage insights" feature will help users curb their Instagram addiction.

In addition to stats showing just how long you've spent in the app, Instagram will soon add a feature that can alert you after you've reached a pre-determined time limit in the app, according to new screenshots. The images were shared by developer Jane Manchun Wong, who's made a hobby out of digging through Instagram's code for unlaunched features.
