Facebook Live video streaming is rolling out globally

Facebook’s new “Live” video feature is beginning its expansion outside the U.S. and into other countries around the world.

Facebook Live allows you to broadcast live video on your iPhone through the Facebook app, similar to how the live-streaming app Periscope works. Until now, only U.S. users, celebrities and verified accounts could use Live, which started very limitedly in August.

When you start a Facebook Live video, which is exclusive to iOS, anyone can jump in and interact with you and each other in the comments. Once your broadcast is over, you have the option to save the video and post it. Read more...
