Report: Google Buys France's FlexyCore for $23 Million

Google has purchased FlexyCore, a French company that develops software solutions for mobile phones, according to a report.

L'Expansion, a French news site, reports that Google paid about $23 million for the 5-year-old company. The report quotes a Google France rep saying, "We acquired this business now well integrated into our teams. It works to optimize the performance of our operating system on mobile devices." Google reps in the U.S. could not be reached for immediate comment on the report.
