Report: Facebook Starts Rolling Out New Privacy Settings in New Zealand


Users in New Zealand are starting to see new settings for their Facebook accounts that make it easier to set privacy controls, according to a report.

The Next Web reports that those users are seeing a "new privacy shortcut menu" that has been added to the main bar on the site. A "privacy settings and tools" page also outlines an overview of privacy options and lets users prevent their Timelines from being indexed by search engines.

It's not clear when users in other countries will get access to the new settings. Reps from Facebook could not be reached for comment.
