What people will be fighting over (online) this Black Friday

Black Friday is mostly online this year, which means we probably won’t see many viral clips of people getting in fights over plasma screen TVs at Walmart. But that doesn’t mean the demand for those hot ticket items is any less.

Instead of fighting another person hand-to-hand combat style, we’ll be going against the clock to snag items before they sell out. On Prime Day we saw 4K smart TVs and Instant Pots go out of stock a few times throughout the two-day event, and we expect to see even more cases of this during Black Friday.

Black Friday deals are technically running throughout all of November, but actual Black Friday (Nov. 27) will still see a much bigger audience than any other day of the month, so if you wait until then to snag the items on your wish list, just know you might be in a race against someone else at their computer.
