Buy your TV on sale now so that you can enjoy it *on* Thanksgiving

Black Friday is exactly two weeks away.

Not that the calendar means anything to retailers this year, of course — but that's even more of a reason for you to follow this advice: Instead of waiting until Black Friday to scoop that nice new TV you've been eyeing up, buy one now so that you can actually enjoy it on Thanksgiving and the weekend after. Many people will probably devise some sort of virtual hangout with family members they can't see this year, and it'd be nice to have that Zoom call on your TV rather than a phone.

Retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Samsung, and Dell have been dropping early Black Friday deals for weeks, and the listing should let you know when an item is at its Black Friday price. Read more...
