FarmLogs Gets $4 Million to Help Modernize Agriculture

Seeing an opportunity in the largely analog world of agriculture, investors have sunk $4 million into FarmLogs, a startup that brings real-time data to farming.

The Series A round, led by Drive Capital, brings FarmLogs' total funding to $5 million. Since launching in 2011, the the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Y Combinator alum has been adopted in 5% of row-crop farms in the U.S., according to the company
