Amazon Nabs Exclusive Shows From TNT


Amazon is seeking out exclusive content licensing deals with TV and film studios as it looks to beef up its $79-per-year Prime service against larger competitors such as Netflix.

The company announced Monday that it signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Turner and Warner Bros. to bring two TNT shows, Falling Skies and The Closer, to its Prime Instant Video catalog. Amazon Prime subscribers can now stream the shows online at no additional charge, and will have access to future season of Falling Skies as well.
