Betty White is breaking her own rules and doing a live chat on Facebook.

For years, White's fans have tried to get the 90-year old actress and comedian to join the social network but she has always demurred.

Today that changes. White is answering fan questions via a live video chat on Tide's Facebook page. White is now a spokeswomen for Tide Vivid, appearing in a series of cheeky commercials. The premise behind the ad campaign is to "break the rules."
