The best Apple deals ahead of Amazon's Prime Day Early Access Sale: MacBooks, iPads, AirPods, and more

UPDATE: Oct. 7, 2022, 12:55 p.m. EDT This post has been updated with the latest Apple markdowns ahead of Prime Day 2.

You don't have to be a diehard Apple fan to know that deals from the brand don't come around all that often. While it's still possible to find some Apple sales throughout the year, your best bet for scoring the biggest savings is striking when the shopping holiday iron is hot.

Usually, that would be in July for Amazon Prime Day or in November for Cyber Week, but this year, Amazon threw us a curve ball — the Prime Early Access Sale. The PEAS is a two-day event running from Oct. 11 to Oct. 12, bringing exclusive savings for Prime members, meaning that if you have a Prime account. It is essentially a second Prime Day, and a chance to snag discounted Apple tech before the holiday rush kicks into high gear.

Though we're still a few days out from the official start date, Amazon likes to get ahead of itself, so the deals are already rolling in. So you don't have to sift through them on your own, we've rounded up the deals that are actually noteworthy (i.e. the iPads and MacBooks that have been sitting at the same "sale" price for the past four months won't be on this list). Check back often, as we'll be keeping track as pricing and availability changes, all the way through the event.

We're updating this page constantly, so check back often. All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a strikeout were either sold out or no longer available at their sale price when we last looked. Anything marked with a 🔥 has dropped to an all-time low price.

Mac and MacBook deals

Why we like it

When the 256GB M2 MacBook Pro dropped $200 on Amazon earlier this year, it sold out quick. The same could very well happen with the 512GB model, which at $200 off, is the same price as buying the 256GB at full price. Basically, you could get an M2 chip (which is 40% faster than the M1 chip) and double the storage space for free with this deal. And if you're someone who wants to take advantage of the Pro's power, we can almost guarantee the extra built-in space will come in handy.

If you're not looking for a bigger iPad, the iPad mini is pretty much your best option, and right now, it's at its lowest price ever at both Amazon and Target in three different colors. The A15 chip keeps it speedy, the design and multiple color options keep it cute, and the stereo speakers keep it sounding good.

We've been waiting for Series 7 prices to take a nice good dip after the release of the Series 8. Finally, we're seeing a deal really worth going for, with the 45mm Series 7 watch at just $309, marking a return a price that's both its lowest ever and that's $20 less than the best 41mm Series 7 price, as live at the time of writing.

It's not the absolute lowest price we've ever seen on these earbuds, but at only $10 away, it's pretty dang close. They won't come with active noise cancellation, but you will get a solid pair of earbuds that pair super easily to your Apple devices, thanks to their H1 chip. Find them on sale at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
