I will start this review by saying that it has been several years since the last time I used a tablet thats not an iPad or Android. I mean a digital tablet for drawing. I used to love the Cintiq, it was the most amazing piece of tech and despite the fact that I am not an illustrator, I always found the tool super useful in Photoshop, but it is a bit too big for my needs right now. I know times have changed. New tech, new possibilities but I am back to using a tablet, this time a Wacom Intuos S.

The best thing about the Intuos S is the size. Its small and portable. I can carry it with me anywhere plus it doesnt take a huge amount of space on my desk.It has replaced my mouse and trackpad and I do love it, plus I do feel my wrist and shoulder are also thanking me. Let me give you more details from their website, trust me, I could not describe it any better, again.

Explore new ways to get creative with Wacom Intuos. Master 3D art, become an amazing illustrator or edit photos to make them pop off the screen. Free downloadable software and online training will help you realize your creative dreams.

Product description

Wacom Intuos pen tablet has been designed for those who are getting started drawing, painting or photo editing with their Mac, PC, Chromebook or select Android smartphones/tablets. Whether its the light super-accurate pen, the stylish design, the included software or online tutorials, Wacom Intuos is all you need to get creative digitally. Wacom Intuos can also be used to easily write, edit or convey ideas to in education or remote work settings.

Wacom Pen 4K

The first thing youll notice when using Wacom Intuos is how natural it feels. Thanks to EMR (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) technology, the battery free pen with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity provides a natural drawing experience that can keep going as long as you do. Whilst its ergonomic design and light weight make it sit comfortably in your hand, allowing you to experience both precision and control.

Super stylish design

Wacom Intuos is as slim as a smartphone and light enough to take anywhere (only 230g). And while its sleek and stylish design takes up very little desk space, its still as durable and robust as ever. Plus, no matter your dcor, the Wacom Intuos comes in black and pistachio colors that suit any surrounding.

The tablets features include a dynamic built-in pen tray that stops the pen from rolling off the tablet and four customizable short-cut ExpressKeys.

Some photos on my desk

As I mentioned, Ive been using this tablet as my main input in addition to the keyboard. It took me a while to get used to it again but now I really love it. I created my last Photoshop tutorial using it and theres more to come. Perhaps I will even get into some illustration :)

Conclusion

One of the best things about this tablet, in my humble opinion, is that its also affordable. The starting retail is around $70. The Intuos Im using retails at $100 because its bluetooth, even though I only use it with the cable for better connectivity.
