While the Flip 5 is offered in a bunch of different colors, only the red version has dipped to this low price (we have yet to confirm if this is Taylor's doing, Black Friday-related, or pure serendipity, but you can draw your own conclusions). Everywhere else, including Amazon, Best Buy, and JBL's website, this speaker still sits firmly at $130.

Beyond its incredibly festive sale timing, the JBL Flip 5 has a lot going for it that makes it one of our favorite Bluetooth speakers out there. As we mentioned, the sound won't leave you disappointed — it's balanced and can handle some bass. Maybe the next most important spec for a portable speaker is how long it can play on a single charge, and the Flip 5 gives you a full 12 hours of playback time.

At under two pounds, it's also small enough that throwing it in a bag won't take up much space or weigh you down. For the hotter months, its water resistance will allow you to take it to the pool or beach without fear. If you want even more power, you can connect the Flip 5 to other compatible JBL speakers for max volume (because "State of Grace" is cool on one speaker, but imagine it blaring out of three).

While we wouldn't call this a top-of-the-line speaker, it's still a really good value, and fits right in on your desk at home or on your beach towel by the water.
