NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 LHR & RTX 3080 Ti LHR Mining Performance Tested
The NVIDIA RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate (LHR) has been put to the test and highlights the effectiveness of NVIDIA's new crypto mining hash limiter. The ZOTAC RTX 3060 LHR Apocalypse GOC was tested in a variety of benchmarks where it performed identically to the RTX 3060 in all tests except for mining where it reached 20-22 MH/s at 119 W or roughly half of the RTX 3060 which can achieve over 40 MH/s. The upcoming RTX 3080 Ti was also tested and it saw a similar drop to 58 MH/s at 299 W, if these measures by NVIDIA cannot be circumvented the demand for these cards from miners may begin to fall.
