Google celebrates its 22nd birthday with a socially distant Google Doodle

On Sept. 27, 22 years ago, Google was born. Naturally, the company is celebrating with one of its signature Google Doodles. 

And yes, even the Google logo is being responsible by celebrating its birthday as one should during a pandemic: Having a friendly gathering through video chat, complete with cake, presents, and confetti. The cute little party is clearly being held on Google Hangouts, of course — or is that Google Meet? I don't know, it's tough to keep up anymore.

In case you're not familiar with Google Doodles, it's when the tech giant changes its search engine's traditional logo to celebrate special days and people. Whether that's a famous artist or a holiday, unique doodles are created as a commemoration.  Read more...
