Instagram is testing Group Stories

Instagram might soon let users to create Stories together. 

App researcher Jane Manchun Wong has discovered that the social media platform is testing a feature called Group Story. A series of screenshots of the feature show how this works: Users will be able to share content to a Group Story on Instagram, and from there you can choose to send it to your close friends or a Group.

Interestingly, Facebook (which owns Instagram) has already tried out a similar feature in its main app, and decided to shut it down last month. Instagram, however, is more story-driven than Facebook, so Group Stories might fare better there.  Read more...
