How to Make Brochure Designs in Photoshop
Once you've found the perfect brochure template for your business, you'll need to customize it to match your brand. Here’s a quick tutorial that'll help you tweak your brochure design template in Photoshop.
For the purposes of this tutorial, I'm using the Trifold Brochure template for Photoshop from Envato Elements. It’s a modern and trendy brochure design that uses a standard trifold layout.
1. Customize Text
Start by opening up the brochure template in Photoshop. I’ll be customizing the front first, so I’ve opened the Front.psd file.
As you can see from the screenshot, each layer is named and organized, which makes editing the brochure file very easy.
To edit the text:
Click the T icon or press the letter T on your keyboard
Position your mouse next to the text you want to edit on your Photoshop document.
Then, highlight the text and enter your own information.
Repeat this process for each text layer in your Photoshop document.
As you’re editing the text, you can also change the font that was used by selecting a different font from the drop-down menu in the top bar.
2. Change Colors
Once you’re done editing the text, you can change the colors used in the brochure design. Looking at all the available layers, I can see that I need to select the layer group named Shape BG.
Once the folder has been expanded, clicking an individual layer allows me to change the color by using the color picker tool. Here, you can enter a HEX color code for your brand colors, or you can use the color picker to find a color you want to use.
3. Add Your Images
