Favorite Beasts of Ramamurty

I received my art education at the KazNPU Abai, a special atmosphere that instills love for creativity. I work in
different techniques but a special turn took place in my creativity when a trip to India inspired the creation of a painting series dedicated to the symbols of the city.

We feel that experiencing feelings determines the direction of creative
activity, and call that "Ramamurty."

Falafel Forever

One of the translations of Ramamurty is the Indian name, which means "enjoying the face."
I want to create certain emotional connections between my work and
the audience. Show certain extremes existing in harmony. I strive for symbolic
images, while retaining some flexibility.

Former Tram Depot Almaty

I am inspired by different directions, including Impressionism and Surrealism. But the basis of my experience is the era of rebirth, so one of
the artists infinitely respected by me will always be Michelangelo.

El Choro Wedding

Back in 2014, I came upon Zim and Zou’s hamburger piece and had butterflies in my stomach. That feeling gave me the realization
that working with paper was what brought me the most joy and
excitement.

I had always loved the tactile feeling of the entire process
and being able to hold the finished piece in my hands was both
satisfying and exhilarating. It took a couple years after that
realization, but I finally hunkered down and followed my dream.

Speckled

Growing up, there was never a shortage of paper in the house since
it was so inexpensive and accessible. Paper became my go-to medium and I
would use it to create origami, pop-up cards, birthday cards, and gifts
for others. This continued on when I was a university student with
no money for art supplies; paper and glue was all I needed to create
art.

Magnetized

My biggest inspirations have always come from people (their faces, quirks, outfits) and moments in life. It’s an added bonus if I
get to infuse a dose of silliness in a piece. Currently, most of my works are centered
around portraits for couples as it’s the most popular request.

Keys

From a young age, I was encouraged to be involved in the arts by several influential people in my life including teachers, friends, and my parents. My
mother was a seamstress for a portion of her life and my dad was an interior
painter and landscaper. I was very much brought up in a use-your-own-hands-to-create-or-fix-something
sort of household.

What I love about sculpture is that you are able to morph your vision in your mind and have it become this tangible object that can be experienced by others.

I also have a heavy dancebackground and am trained in various styles. My parents emigrated from Trinidad and Tobago and my most concrete point of inspiration is my heritage. I was brought up immersed
in their customs so wearable art
was bound to be one of my forms of artistic expression.

Sometimes there is no
concrete inspiration behind what I would like to produce. Other times I am in pursuit of taking discarded
materials and using them to create sculptures that are very visually pleasing.

Dual Citizenship

I am a huge fan of the Art Nouveau style, specifically the work of Alphonse
Mucha. I’m attracted to the decorative, airy, organic, and movement-filled
nature of his pieces.

I also revere Caribbean Carnival costume artists in Trinidad
and Tobago such as Peter Minshall. I aspire one day to create a larger-than-life
wearable art piece for the title of King and
Queen of Carnival.

interactive design during my master's degree.

BIM Holographic Platform Background

As a user experience designer, I try hard to
experience life and discover the beauty in it. Bringing out the fun thoughts of experiencing life and introducing that to product design is one of the most interesting things I find in my work so far.

Dragonfly

I'm very fond of illustrations with decorative
styles. These styles express to me the
beauty of illustration and relate to my own personality. In
terms of user interface, I like the Sci-Fi interface style. It helps me create mixed
reality products based on their Sci-Fi characteristics.
