Snapchat will let you record longer videos but there's an annoying catch

Snapchat just answered one of its users' biggest requests: The app will no longer limit you to single 10-second video clips at a time. Instead, Snapchat now allows you to record up to a full minute of video at once. 

There is, however, one catch.

While you can now record up to 60 seconds of video in one go, the recording will still be broken up into 10-second clips. 

The feature, which Snap is officially calling "Multi-Snap," is similar to the way you can record longer videos with Spectacles. Once you've reached the end of the first 10-second clip, just continue pressing down on the shutter to keep the video going. You can do this up to six times (Spectacles allows you to extend recordings up to 30 seconds).  Read more...
