How to Print With Gridlines in Excel in 60 Seconds

Excel spreadsheets are combinations of rows and columns and where they meet are called cells. This creates a big grid in Excel. When you print a spreadsheet you won't see this grid by default, but I'll show you how to change that setting in this quick video tutorial.

Note: Watch this short tutorial screencast or follow these quick steps that compliment this video:

1. Highlight What You Want to Print in Excel

In Excel, the first thing that I always do before I print is to highlight what I wanna include in the pages that I print.I'll just click and drag my mouse cursor over my selection.

2. Start Applying Your Preferred Excel Print Settings

Now, I'll go to the File > Print Menu. From the Settings dropdown, I'll go ahead and switch the dropdown to Print Selection, so that only the highlighted area prints. I might also make another adjustment here like changing this to Landscape Orientation.
