Apple sends out invites to iPhone 7 launch event

The Apple iPhone 7 invites are here.

The Cupertino, California, tech giant will unveil its newest smartphone — and maybe more — on Sept. 7 in San Francisco.

Apple emailed the invitations to media, including Mashable, and revealed the venue will be the The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

The invite reads only, "See you on the 7th. Please join us for an invitation-only event."

The presentation will kick off at 10 AM PST. No word on whether or not Apple will live-stream the unveiling, but it's a pretty good bet that they will. 

In addition to the eagerly anticipated new iPhone that everyone believes Apple will unveil, there will definitely be at least one, and maybe two variants: a larger 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, an iPhone 7 SE and maybe even an iPhone 7 Pro (the latter two are pretty unlikely). Read more...
