Pebble launches 2 new smartwatches and a surprise

Six months after the release of the Pebble Round, Pebble is back with a new lineup. And because its Pebble, you know it’s launching on Kickstarter.

Fifteen months after raising $20 million for the Pebble Time on Kickstarter, the original smartwatch maker is back with the Pebble 2 and the Pebble Time 2. It’s also launching a new non-smartwatch product called the Pebble Core.

The Pebble 2 is being billed as the company’s “most affordable” smartwatch, with a focus on fitness. The design is reminiscent of the original Pebble — though the sides are a little more tapered and it feels thinner. Read more...
