DETROIT — Where to begin with the all-new E-Class? Although it might have one of the least inspiring exteriors of the Mercedes-Benz lineup, it has perhaps the most awe-inspiring list of tech and safety features on the market today.

Here are just a few quick highlights: Its new semi-autonomous 'DRIVE PILOT' (think Tesla's Autopilot but, you know, safer) has a 'Steering Pilot' system that will keep the E-Class in the lanes up to 130 mph. More impressively, it'll keep itself in a lane even if lane markings are unclear or nonexistent up to 81 mph. And when you do you want to change lanes, it can do that, too, with 'Active Lane-Change Assist.' Read more...
