Another hoverboard catches on fire while charging, this time in New Jersey

Following several incidents of hoverboards bursting into flames across the country, PIX 11 reports another one of the self-balancing electric scooters caught on fire while it was charging in a New Jersey family's home on Sunday.

According to the Lanoka Harbor Fire Department, the hoverboard singed the family's carpet. Fortunately, the family was at home and nobody was hurt. The report didn't identify the brand of hoverboard.
