Chinese man wrecks $4.1-million Swedish supercar

The unluckiest man in the world award this week goes to one Mr. Liu — resident of Chongqing, China — who crashed a $4.1-million Koenigsegg Argera R supercar into sidewalk barrier pylons early Sunday morning.

According to People's Daily Online, the driver has been identified as Mr. Liu and has been detained by police for driving under the influence of alcohol. Chinese media are referring to the incident as the most expensive car crash in Chinese history.

Witnesses report that Mr. Liu never got out to survey the damage. Instead, he remained behind the wheel — covering his face with his clothes — for two hours until a tow truck showed up. Read more...
