Hundreds exposed as illicit photos of Australian women leaked online

South Australian police are investigating a case involving more than 400 Adelaide women who reportedly had private, revealing photos shared on an American website without their consent.

A number of the women whose images were distributed, told the Adelaide Advertiser the photos may have been taken off Facebook or shared by ex-partners.

After the risqué and nude images of women and girls were shared in April on a message board site, victims warned those on the thread that the photos were uploaded without consent.
