Barack Obama, once the highest-ranked member of the BlackBerry faithful, perplexed many on Monday with his first tweet from @POTUS, which was sent from — gasp! — an iPhone

It's virtually impossible to identify the device in Obama's hand in this photo of him tweeting from the account on Monday, but the tweet's metadata spilled the secret to anyone using Tweetdeck or a third-party twitter client:
