Path Joins the Messaging Wars With a New App

Path is taking a run at the most popular consumer space in town: mobile messaging

The social network announced a new messaging app on Friday called Path Talk, which completely removes messaging from the existing app and offers it instead as a standalone service

Current Path users wishing to message will need to download Path Talk in order to do so
