DARPA Is Using Oculus Rift for Cyberwarfare
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is using the Oculus Rift headset to create a prototype network tool for cyberwarfare agents, Wired reports
Instead of seeing a flat representation of a computer network, a wearer would be able to look around himself and see the different parts of the system in an interactive, 3D field.
DARPA reps admit it’s a proof of concept right now, but the goal is to make cyberwarfare easier to visualize and understand for the U.S. Cyber Command and other American military hackers. Read more...
