Israel Struck by Volley of Rockets from Gaza

A volley of rockets fired from Gaza struck various parts of south Israel on Wednesday, various sources in the region reported.

News reports of the attack and a response from the Iron Dome anti-rocket system were confirmed by the Israeli Defense Force Twitter feed.

The IDF reported the launch of more than 30 rockets, although some reports put the number as high as 55. The IDF claimed to have intercepted three of the rockets. No reports of injuries of casualties immediately emerged. Read more...
