Netflix Resurrects 'The Killing' for Short Final Season

The Killing is coming back for its fourth and final season.

Netflix purchased a series-ending six episodes from Fox Television Studios that will be available to the website's streaming members.

A Netflix executive said the series was a great fit because The Killing utilizes serialized storytelling, which has done well on Netflix. The show depicts murder investigations led by two detectives played by Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman.
