Eyes Wide Gaga: Mother Monster Channels Kubrick

Lady Gaga did not blink for a creepy two minutes during her VMAs performance on Sunday night.

The pop star opened the show with her latest song "Applause," wearing an all-white outfit with headgear that was basically a piece of cardboard with a hole cut out. The camera zoomed in, and Gaga stared into TV viewers' souls in a way that could almost match Jack NicholsonAlmost.
