John Williams to Continue 'Star Wars' Musical Legacy, Scoring 'Episode VII'

John Williams will score Star Wars: Episode VII, continuing his legacy of composing music for all of the previous six movies in the Star Wars saga.

Lucasfilm confirmed Saturday that Williams will be part of the team behind Episode VII, joining director J.J. Abrams on the film. Williams composed the Star Wars theme song, "Main Title," which is now a widely-recognized tune.

"The galaxy far, far away, I actually feel like I'm still in it — I've never really left it," Williams said in an official Star Wars video interview. "Having worked on all of the six films, I'm just happy to be continuing to be part of the whole fun of doing it." Read more...
