Report: Samsung Ships More Smartphones Than Four of Its Biggest Rivals Combined

According to the latest quarterly data from IDC, Samsung has shipped more than twice as many smartphones as Apple in Q2 2013

In fact, with 72.4 million shipments in the period, the Korean giant shipped more smartphones than four of his biggest rivals combined. In Q2 2013, Apple has shipped 31.2 million smartphones, followed by LG, Lenovo and ZTE, with 12.1, 11.3 and 10.1 million, respectively.
