Front-end designer/developer

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and driven frontend designer/developer to rework our public website. Three weeks of full-time work starting ASAP – week of 7/22/13.

About the project: Transition the Compass website from a beta-software teaser website, to a full-blown enterprise software marketing engine. The website will keep the same look and feel, but will need to incorporate a large amount of new content (product descriptions, pricing info, marketing copy, etc). Website is, and will remain, primarily static content with small amounts of javascript.

We will provide all the copy. Contractor will need to:
1. Create a design to incorporate the new content into the website
2. Find or generate graphical content as needed
3. Implement a responsive, mobile-friendly website using responsive design techniques

Shopify or Prestashop Ecommerce Developer

Budget: $10,000+

This is a call for all those developers who’ve had experience with eCommerce.
We have a client who’s migrating from OS Commerce to a new hosted solution. We’re close to the selection of platform and are looking for developers to help us make the transition. The current site, and it’s product database will need to be migrated to the new platform.

The client is asking our help to troubleshoot, configure, and customize the new platform to accommodate specialized needs.

We’re interested in talking to folks who have experience migrating from OS Commerce to a hosted solution of any type. We appreciate your perspective on platform itself and we’re looking for someone who can help us evaluate how to implement functionality in a new eCommerce environment.

Web Designer for Hosted Shopping Cart

Budget: $2,500 to $5,000

DPD is a hosted shopping cart for selling downloadable products like PDFs, MP3s, software, and more. We’re self-funded, profitable, and growing.
We provide add-to-cart and checkout buttons that vendors place on their web pages. These buttons link to our hosted cart, payment, and delivery pages.
Currently, DPD has a bunch of uh, ugly buttons and a generic, boring checkout theme. What can we say- we’re programmers and we did the best we could.
But we want to fix that! We’re looking for a web designer who can do the following:
Make us several pretty button sets in a range of fabulous colors

Make us several responsive, cross browser compatible cart, checkout, and delivery themes for vendors to choose from and customize inside our app
Themes would consist of 5-10 static HTML pages to our spec. We would be responsible for integrating your themes and buttons with our app- we just need valid HTML/CSS/assets to include from you.

Interactive UX/UI Designer for Multimedia Startup

A multimedia startup based in the United States is looking for a seasoned interactive UX/UI designer for 1-2 weeks to work on refining and polishing our current site design. The job would start ASAP. The right candidate could be offered additional work with additional pay.

The idea candidate would have:

- The ability to create intuitive, engaging, and visually striking designs on desktop and mobile platforms

- A strong sense of typography, color, layout, and the extensive use of photography

- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular client-side frameworks like jQuery

- The ability to solve design problems quickly and decisively
