This Is How a Star-Studded Awards Show Looks Through Google Glass

MIAMI, FLORIDA — Univision infused its social-media coverage of this year's Premios Juventud — a televised awards show honoring musicians, athletes and soap-opera stars — with intimate photos taken by Mashable's Brian Anthony Hernandez using Google Glass.

Glass is Google's wearable technology that responds to voice commands and hand gestures. Univision's inclusion of Glass along with the Spanish-language network's extensive social integrations made Premios Juventud the most-social program and network on July 18, attracting nearly 1.5 million social interactions (see the infographic, below).

Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull opened the show with a medley of their hit songs; at the end of their set, J.Lo booty-bumped Pitbull into the pool, and also jumped in herself. What's more, Ricky Martin debuted "Come With Me," Marc Anthony sang "Vivir Mi Vida (Live My Life)" and Prince Royce, who was the most mentioned celebrity guest on social, performed as well
