Ron Paul Petitioning UN for Control of RonPaul.com


RonPaul.com is an exceedingly popular website dedicated to all things Ron Paul -- but Paul himself doesn't own it. Instead, it's registered to unknown Paul supporters who have run a fan site for the politician since 2007.

Paul, meanwhile, has used CampaignForLiberty.org as his official site. But now he wants RonPaul.com all to himself -- and he's taking his complaint to the United Nations.

Paul recently filed a petition to the World International Property Organization, a U.N. body that coordinates intellectual property corporation between countries, to get the domain transfered to his ownership. He previously expressed his desire for the domain in a January interview.
