Newspapers Interactive Map Reveals Handgun Permit Holders

A New York newspaper published an interactive map listing names and addresses of licensed handgun permit holders in the Westchester and Rockland counties of New York, drawing criticism from all sides.

The Google Map lets you zoom in and locate by first and last name of licensed handgun -- pistol or revolver -- owners along with their address. The map does not indicate what weapons a license-holder owns and excludes assault rifles, like what was used in the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
