Hacker Commandeers Westboro Twitter Account

The personal Twitter account of Westboro Baptist Church member Shirley Phelps-Roper was hacked Monday morning, two days after the group announced it would protest at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

The hacker re-tweeted dozens of tweets applauding the hack and decrying the actions of the group. The hacker also posted a couple private emails -- one from a supporter warning Phelps-Roper that her Twitter account may have been hacked, and another was a list of locations in Kansas the WBC planned to picket.
