Facebooks iOS SDK Gets Huge Update

Facebook updated its SDK on Tuesday, adding support for Facebook integration in iOS 6.

The 3.1 update marks the most significant update to the iOS SDK since it first launched in 2009, and gives developers access to functionality such as ad analytics, native UI controls, and a seamless Facebook Login across iOS devices.

This integration opens up new opportunities for mobile app developers, as you can easily build the foundation for a social app, Facebook Login and sharing functionality into your product," Facebook representative Eddie ONeal said in a blog post announcing the update. The Facebook integration in iOS 6 is complementary to the Facebook SDK for iOS.
