YouTube Wants to Be Your Go-To for Election Coverage


YouTube launched the "YouTube Elections Hub" Wednesday, providing a one-stop spot for live footage and video news coverage of the 2012 presidential election.

On the Elections Hub, YouTube users will be able to watch the biggest moments of election season -- including speeches from the upcoming conventions and the presidential and vice presidential debates -- live from their computers or connected mobile device.

The hub will also feature behind the scenes Google+ Hangouts with what YouTube calls the "power brokers" of politics.

YouTube has also partnered with a wealth of media partners to share their coverage of the election on the new hub. ABC News, Al Jazeera English, the New
