12 Killed in Mass Shooting at Batman Premiere in Colorado

Twelve people are confirmed dead and 38 have been wounded in a shooting at the premiere of the new Batman movie in a movie theater in Aurora near Denver, Colorado, according to numerous reports.

According to reports, a gunman opened fire at the theater, killing twelve people and injuring 38, which have been admitted to a hospital.

"The Police Department can confirm that 12 persons are deceased, with the bodies of 10 victims still at the crime scene inside the theater. At least two more victims died at area hospitals," said the Aurora Police Department in a statement.
