Facebook App Center Rolls Out to 6 More Countries

Facebook is continuing the international rollout of its apps marketplace. The company announced that in addition to the U.S. and UK, Facebook users in Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa can now access the App Center via the left-hand side of the News Feed as well as in Facebook's apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Facebook's App Center launched in the U.S. early last month. It's similar to Apple's, Google's and Amazon's app stores, allowing users to browse apps by category, such as Games or Sports, and filter to show apps that are available via the web, mobile or both.
