How to Invert Colors in Illustrator


In the following tutorial, you will learn how to invert colors in Illustrator and how to invert the colors of images in Illustrator.

Select the design for which you wish to invert the colors and go to Edit > Edit Colors > Invert Colors.

Although it's more common to invert colors for black and white designs, this also works for colored designs.

2. How to Invert the Colors of Images in Illustrator


First of all, remember to embed your image once you add it in Illustrator.


Just select your image, go to the Control panel (Window > Control), and click the Embed button.

Once it's embedded, simply go to Edit > Edit Colors > Invert Colors to invert the colors of your selected image.
