How to Make Straight Lines inProcreate


In this quick tutorial, you'll learn how to make straight lines in Procreate. Doing this is a piece of cake, but figuring out how to draw lines in Procreate can be difficult if you're new to this software. Don't worry; we've got you covered. 


There are three methods to make straight lines in Procreate. Let's get started:


How to Draw a Straight Line in Procreate: Method #1

Step 1


Go to Actions and turn on the Drawing Guide to get a 2D Grid on your canvas. This grid will be very useful for checking the alignment of your lines.

How to Make a Straight Line in Procreate: Method #2


This method is pretty similar to the first one but without using a 2D Grid. If you don't use a grid, it can be difficult to tell in Procreate if your straight lines look OK. That's why we'll use the following method to create straight lines in Procreate:


Follow the above steps to learn how to make straight lines on Procreate. Start drawing your line; hold the pencil to get your line straight. After that, tap the screen while still holding the pencil. 


By doing this, your line will automatically straighten and will move to the original direction where your line started.

How to Make a Straight Line in Procreate: Method #3
