The 2020 iPad Air is somehow still on sale for $200 off

Save 33%: Interested in grabbing an iPad at a record-low price? The 2020 iPad Air (WiFi, 64GB) is still $200 off and just $399 at Walmart.

We were almost certain that the end of Walmart+ Weekend would also mean the end of the best deal on the fourth-gen iPad Air we've ever seen. We've never been more happy to be wrong.

As of June 9, you could still grab the 2020 iPad Air with 64GB of storage space for just $399 at Walmart. That's $200 off, in your pick of color. (At Amazon, where the lowest price this iPad has reached is $469, every single color was sold out at the time of writing).

Yes, there is a newer version of the iPad Air with an updated chip that came out just a few months ago. But there's a reason we anticipated this fourth-gen Air selling out before Walmart+ Weekend was even over. For starters, it's not really all that outdated. It runs on an A14 Bionic chip, which is more powerful than the A13 the standard iPad (you know, the one released just last fall) has. In other words, you won't have any problems playing games or editing photos.

The design is sleek and nearly identical to its updated model. You'll still enjoy a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, 10 hours of battery life, a 12MP back camera and 7MP front camera, and compatibility with the second generation Apple Pencil. Factor that all in with iPadOS 16 on its way, and this iPad still looks plenty fresh.

Its main drawback is its limited storage space, but for most everyday users, 64GB should be enough. If you've been waiting for a good iPad deal, you'll want to jump on this one from Walmart before it's sold out.
