Sen Doran created this magnificent real-time trip around the Moon using imagery collected by the Selenological and Engineering Explorer (SELENE aka Kaguya). This is my favorite slow TV program yet.
Operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the Kaguya orbiter was launched in 2007 and destroyed itself in 2009 with a planned crash into the lunar surface. — Read the rest
