Introducing the #UnsplashAwards 2018 - Open Submissions

It's that time of the year where our friends from Unsplash is launching their Unsplash Awards. Today it's November 15th and it's open for submissions! For one month-long celebration, submit your best photos through 12 categories like Diversity, Earth, Experimental, Food and more. And the winners will be hand-picked by incredible judges coming from all fields from our community. The Unsplash Awards is a month-long celebration created to recognize the powerful impact Unsplash contributors have made through their generosity and artistry. Every day, thousands of photographers freely gift their work on Unsplash to move creativity forward.

Weve created 12 photography categories to feature the work of Unsplash contributors throughout November and December. For each category, weve invited a guest judge to help select the featured photos.

Diversity

Photography that captures the underrepresented in stock photography such as different body types, disability awareness, ethnicity, feminism and the LGBT community.

Earth

From stunning land and seascapes, wildlife captures and the tiny details of nature to key issues such as climate change and pollution, Earth is a category to celebrate our planet.

Entrepreneur

From remote work and start-ups to small businesses and individual creators, this category showcases the way business is growing and evolving.

Experimental

Boundary-pushing photography that captures the world in new, creative ways.

Food & Wellness

Photography that represents and encourages a healthy mind and soul. To empower and motivate others towards active lifestyle choices, healing, holistic choices, healthy eating and practices such as meditation and yoga.

Interiors & Architecture

Photography of human-made spaces both inside and out, this category encompasses everything from sweeping perspectives to slick workspace shots.

People & Relationships

People and relationships, captured. We welcome submissions of subjects of all ages and ethnicity, from candid portraits, to styled wedding shoots.

Photojournalism

Capturing the truth behind global stories has never been more critical. This category celebrates those who chose to go out and bravely document important current events.

Product Photography

Photography of products in any style, from editorial to commercial.

Shapes & Textures

From macro photography to drone shots, natural structures to modern architecture, this category celebrates the beautiful patterns and details of the world around us.

Street Photography

More than half of the worlds population lives in cities. This category encompasses everything from gritty street scenes to those once-in-a-lifetime candid shots.

A special category curated by us to recognize excellence in our community.
