Messenger reaction filters show emotion when you don't feel like it

Not feeling very expressive today? Don't worry — Facebook Messenger has new tool to help make your feelings clear to anyone you're chatting with.

Now, when you're on a video call with someone live, you'll see a new Reaction Filter. Tapping on one of the now-familiar Facebook reaction icons (love, laughter, surprise, sadness, or anger) it'll animate on the screen to better get your point across. For example, for love, red hearts will emerge from your face and float around your head. Likewise, tapping on laughter (AKA "haha") will bring forth the "tears of joy" everywhere.
