New Pokémon are coming to 'Pokémon Go', datamine suggests
Pokémon Go's latest update included some minor tweaks and changes to the popular mobile game, but dataminers also uncovered some new lines of code that suggest more second-generation Pokémon are approaching.
The Silph Road looked through thousands of lines of code Wednesday to find information about upcoming Pokémon Go content and stumbled on some brand new mentions of gen-two Pokémon and evolution-inducing items that make some classic gen-one Pokémon evolve into gen-two Pokémon.

The items in question, which are expressly mentioned in the code, are the Dragon Scale, King's Rock, Metal Coat, Sun Stone and Up-Grade.
