Snapchat celebrates the Olympics with new filters, lenses and Discover channel

You can add Snapchat to the list of apps that will help you stay up to date on what's going on at the Olympics.

Snapchat added a boatload of new Olympics-themed features, including new stickers, lenses and filters. The app will also host video content via its Live Stories and a new Discover channel.

If you want to follow the action in Rio, Snapchat's adding a temporary NBC Olympics channel to its Discover section. The channel's content — video highlights and behind the scenes moments from events — will be produced by NBC, who is partnering with BuzzFeed on the effort.  Read more...
